Meet the Team

Dr. Jon Amdur graduated from the University of Delaware with a Biology degree. he then received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College where he met his wife. He has published several articles in the World Chiropractic Journal.

He taught for over 14 years at Hofstra University and New York College for Health Professions. he has volunteered for Wounded Warrior, LI AIDS coalition, and much more. He treats many Motor Vehicle Injuries and Workers Comp patients as well as pediatrics and pregnant women.

He specialized in CBP techniques and Diversified adjusting. He has treated thousands of patients and has one of the largest Chiropractic offices on Long Island. His success is due to his hard work and ability to help so many people feel better. He is truly a caring Doctor and his whole body approach has earned him high recognition.

He is the Director and co-owner of Copiague Chiropractic. He is passionate about Chiropractic and his family. He looks forward to the future and working alongside his son, the next generation of Copiague Chiropractic.

Dr. CathyAnne Amdur attended Northeastern University and Hofstra University for her undergraduate. She graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.

Since graduating she has owned and operated 5 Chiropractic multidisciplinary offices on Long Island along with her husband Dr. Jon Amdur.

She is passionate about wellness and uses a holistic approach. Doctors Jon and CathyAnne have been married for 30 years and have 5 grown children. Their son Cole is currently in Chiropractic college in Atlanta, GA. She loves traveling, the beach, cooking, and family which includes her bulldogs!

Dr. Arkady Yusupov grew up in Queens, New York, and is a graduate of Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He obtained his medical degree at the American University of Antigua.

He completed his internship at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. His neurology residency was at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Yusupov has a special interest in headache medicine and completed his fellowship in Headache Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital on the Upper East Side of New York City. His interests in headache medicine include traumatic brain injury, cervicogenic headaches, migraine pathophysiology and therapies.

Dr. Yusupov is conversant in Russian. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, running, weight lifting, hiking, skiing, and wine tasting.

Justin Mirza, D.O. is a Long Island-based orthopedic surgeon at Mirza Orthopedics. Dr. Mirza graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and went on to finish his residency in orthopedic surgery at North Shore Long Island Jewish in 2014 and a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2015.

Dr. Mirza specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions and injuries affecting both the upper and lower extremities. Many of the surgeries Dr. Mirza performs are done in the outpatient setting. He regularly performs minimally invasive surgeries such as arthroscopic carpal tunnel release, cubital tunnel release, and rotator cuff repair. As a level 1 trauma surgeon at Stony Brook University Hospital, Dr. Mirza also treats patients with complex fractures. In addition, he provides limb-saving vascular and nerve repairs, as well as finger and hand replacement surgeries for patients who have suffered from severe injuries.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Justin Mirza has become known for his unparalleled commitment to orthopedic research and his focus on highly personalized care for his patients of all ages in Suffolk and Nassau County. He has published numerous research articles on conditions and treatments of the hand and upper extremity and regularly presents his research around the world. He has committed himself to ground-breaking biomedical advances such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, a treatment which he offers for the hand, elbow, shoulder, knee, and ankle. Dr. Mirza is also dedicated to the product development and implementation of cutting-edge medical devices, including the intramedullary nail fixation device for metacarpal and phalange fractures.

Mr. Mario Nova is a physician assistant pain management provider for Community Medical Wellness. He received his bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the City University of New York, York College, and an MBA from Adelphi University.

Mr. Nova is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. He is skilled in the intricacies of pain management for ailments related to acute or chronic injuries. Mr. Nova adopts a practical approach and is concerned not only about the patient's disease and healing, but also the quality of life and the long-lasting health improvements. He inspires his patients toward healthy living.
